Platform terms and conditions
Updated: 3 October 2026.
Role of the platform
Rent a Car Morocco connects customers with car rental agencies established in Morocco. The rental contract is concluded between the customer and the agency, which remains responsible for the vehicle, its insurance and its handover.
Booking
The customer chooses a car, dates (or an event date), options and a booking option: Standard or Flexible. When online payment is active, the customer pays online the platform commission (7% of the total) and a service fee (25 MAD up to a 2,000 MAD rental, 45 MAD up to 3,500 MAD, 65 MAD up to 5,000 MAD, then 1.2% with a minimum of 65 MAD); with the Flexible option, a surcharge of 15% of the rental price is added. These amounts are kept by the platform. The rest of the price is paid directly to the agency. Otherwise, the booking is a request without payment. The agency confirms or declines; if it declines, everything paid online is refunded.
Cancellation by the customer
Standard option: the online payment is not refunded if the customer cancels or does not show up. Flexible option: cancellation is free up to 72 hours before the pick-up or event date, from the booking’s tracking link; the whole online payment is then refunded except the service fee. After that, or in case of no-show, nothing is refunded.
Agency conditions
The deposit, excess, mileage, minimum rental, age and driving-licence seniority required are those shown on the car’s listing and set by the agency. The customer shows a driving licence and an ID at pick-up.
Partner agencies
Each agency and each car is checked before publication. The platform charges a commission of 7% of the rental total, paid online by the customer; the customer pays the rest directly to the agency. The agency guarantees that its photos, prices and conditions are accurate and that its vehicles are insured.
Contact and publisher
The publisher of the site and its contact details are given on the Contact page of rentacarmorocco.com.
